I know it can feel very annoying to have your parents ruling your life when you feel you can make up your own mind. But don't panic, there's a big change on the way. As soon as you get to secondary school you'll find it gets much easier. Adults will treat you in a different way, you'll maybe travel to school on your own and you're expected to manage your timetable, books, homework, games kit and after-school clubs all by yourself. Your parents will quickly see that you've grown up and they need to treat you differently. Instead of getting mad at them now, try telling them you'd like some more responsibility and you'd like to try being independent to prepare for moving onto your next school. Parents will understand that better. They might find it difficult to give you some freedom, but if you do it responsibly and prove to them you're capable of being home on time, going to the shops, doing a job around the house, that will help a lot. Once they trust you they'll stop ruling your life quite so much!
