How can you tell if you are a lesbien?
Question in full: how can you tell if you are a lesbien or gay
Dear 'how can you tell if you are a lesbien or gay'. You are a lesbian or gay if you are only sexually attracted to people of the same sex and not of the opposite sex. A gay woman can be called a lesbian or gay. A gay man is called gay or homosexual, but not a lesbian. It is very common to have strong feelings of love and respect for people of the same sex, between friends or cousins or other members of the family. This is not being gay. It is also common to have temporary feelings of sexual attraction for people of the same sex or to experience sex itself with members of the same sex. These feelings and experiences often then stop and you go on to only have relationships with the opposite sex after that. Again, this does not mean you are gay. You can tell if you are gay because your feelings of sexual attraction for the same sex continue and you really are not interested in the opposite sex in that way. These feelings take time to consider and develop and should not be rushed. As we get older it usually becomes more obvious how we feel about sex and who we want to have sex with. Having sex with anyone, whether they are the same or opposite sex is an important decision and needs to be thought about carefully.
